Armored Warfare, the tank hunt from My.com, will continue to receive further revisions even after the major Tanks Reloaded update. Next up are the commanders and their skills.
The tank online game Armored Warfare recently underwent a major overhaul with the “Tanks Reloaded” update. The stats of the tanks and the gameplay were restructured.
According to a community Q&A, the developers want to change even more and continue with the commanders. But more innovations are planned as well.
Armored Warfare: Commanders will become more complex
So far, it was quite easy to skill your tank commanders, and the system was not very complex. And anyone who had the maximum XP with their commanders was basically done and had no more progression. However, that is set to change soon, as the developers want to make it harder to unlock individual skills in the future.
Additionally, there should be a selection process for different skills. This way, players who already have a fully upgraded commander with 999,999 experience points can also achieve further progress.
Armored Warfare: Guided missiles and skins
Alongside the commander update, which is set to be included in the next major patch, the developers are reportedly planning more innovations for the near future, according to the community Q&A:
- Redesign of avatars and titles
- Guided missiles (currently being tested)
- The possibility to convert low insignias to higher ones
- Skins for tanks, for example camouflage nets
- APS for certain T-80 models
- The Frontline map is set to be redesigned and better balanced
- Replay system to be improved (fast-forward to specific parts)
- There may be an option to hide the gun barrel in sniper mode
