The tank MMO Armored Warfare starts where the competitor World of Tanks stops: with the end of World War II. In the free-to-play MMO Armored Warfare, the player takes on the role of a mercenary who fights in battle tanks and self-propelled guns in military conflicts around the globe. As the player becomes stronger, they can unlock new vehicles, progressing from rudimentary tanks from the Cold War to modern, fully-technologized battle colossi.
