ARK: Valentine’s Event 2017 – Go forth and multiply, romantic dinos on the way

It’s going to be romantically sweet in ARK Survival Evolved: Dinos surprise you with chocolate for the Day of Love. The ARK Valentines Event 2017.

With the Dinos, it gets romantic for Valentine’s Day and you will receive special rewards during mating.

ARK Valentines Event 2017: Chocolate, new hairstyles, and mating joys

Studio Wildcard wants to celebrate love with you and offers the following heartfelt extras.

• Dinos have a 5% chance to drop a chocolate box when they mate. Chocolate will restore full health or improve a Dino’s taming bar by 50%.
• Male and female characters can unlock new facial and hair options. These can be found in “Craftable Items”.
• New Heart Emote to unlock
• If you launch a server with “vday”, you will receive: 2x Mateboost Range, 3x Mating Speed/Mating Recovery, 3x Baby/Egg Maturation Speed, 1/3rd Baby Food Consumption

The event starts on February 12th on PC and on February 14th on PS4 and Xbox One.

All platforms receive an Evolution Event perk

Players across all platforms, including PC, PS4, and Xbox One, will receive an Evolution Event perk throughout the weekend. This is already live and will last until Monday, February 13th, 6:00 PM. You will receive:

• 1. 5x Harvesting Rate
• 1. 5x Taming Rate
• 1. 5x EXP Rate

So dear survivors: Go out into the world and mate your Dinos. – Maybe there will be chocolate.
