Part of ARK: Survival Evolved is now free. So anyone can take a look at the game.
Survivor League for free – offers cash prizes
Since ARK: Survival Evolved skyrocketed last summer and broke sales records on Steam, a lot has evolved in the game. Numerous new dinosaurs, wildlife, and equipment have been added to the game. Meanwhile, they’re also working on some background lore to keep lore fans entertained.
Anyone who hasn’t checked out the game yet will be pleased to hear that the PVP mode of ARK, Survival of the Fittest, is now available for free for everyone – yes, even if you haven’t purchased the base game. If that’s not enough motivation, maybe the monthly “Survivor League” tournaments, which each distribute $64,000 in cash prizes, will entice you, with the grand prize in four different categories being a hefty $3,500.
The first Survivor League is set to start on April 15. It will last approximately 30 days.
The developers are currently working on expanding the world with more caves and polishing the existing ones. They’ve also provided a little taste of what the underground graphical splendor will look like:
