A comprehensive mod for ARK: Survival Evolved takes players to the moon. Strange things are happening…
Even on the moon, dinosaurs await
The modding community surrounding the dinosaur game ARK: Survival Evolved is large. However, while many limit themselves to transforming just a few items or creatures, this has now been taken to the next level: literally to the moon. The modification “ARK: Moon Survival” places the player on the surface of the moon. After the astronauts of the first moon mission found something up there that looks like a dinosaur bone, you have now also been sent there to find more evidence.
Although you start in the mod already in a base, resources are sparingly distributed. As in the base game, you must collect various materials while also keeping an eye on your oxygen supply. There is a completely new ecosystem to discover, vast plains, and numerous secrets hidden on the satellite.
From the various resources, useful tools can be crafted, and those who are particularly diligent can even build their own moon rover to race across the surface.
However, those who venture too far may discover one or two unpleasant surprises, as the moon doesn’t seem to be as deserted as it might appear in the first few minutes of gameplay.
