Dread Wolves and Frogs You Shouldn’t Kiss
With the new patch 216, ARK: Survival Evolved not only introduced new creatures yesterday, but also two completely new biomes that expand the game world. For the first time, a large swamp and an icy snow landscape can be explored. As expected, both zones come with entirely new creatures.
In the deep snow, Dread Wolves can be found, tamed, and ultimately used as mounts. In the small ponds of the swamp, all kinds of toxic creatures wait – alongside giant snakes, there are also large frogs. Especially funny: The frogs can also be saddled and serve as a mode of transportation. This way, even larger obstacles can be quickly crossed, as they can jump great distances instead of walking over the ground.
Furthermore, the green Quakers have a ranged attack by swinging their long tongue. This video gives you a good impression of what the new patch has in store for you:
