In ARK: Survival Evolved there is a new patch 1.24 for PS4. Xbox players have already received the update. Expect the patch for PS4 on Monday if all goes well. 1.24 could be quite large.
There is a new patch on PS4 and Xbox One in Ark Survival Evolved that brings the consoles up to the PC version v258. The Xbox One received the patch on June 9. The patch size was 34GB. Now the PS4 is expected to follow – Sony took longer for certification than Microsoft.
Ark PS4 Update 1.24 – ETA June 12 – What’s in the Patch
The patch is packed with new content, including:
- New dinos – Hyaenodon, Hesperornis, Megatherium, Megalania, Yutyrannus
- Per-Pixel Painting: This also applies to war paint of survivors and dinos
- Texture memory and mesh optimization
- A motorboat for crafting
- A working toilet that gives an XP boost
- A massive update for Primitive+
The June 12 is an ETA, an estimated time of arrival. The patch 1.24 will only come to PS4 tomorrow if everything goes smoothly during the certification process.
