For Ark Survival Evolved, a large new PC patch has been announced. It is expected to come tomorrow, but there are no patch notes yet.
Update June 22: This update is indeed Patch v259 and it will be released today, June 22. The patch notes will follow.
On Twitter, Ark’s lead designer Jeremy Stieglitz announced a new PC patch. This patch is supposed to be larger and is set to release tomorrow, June 21. In the tweet, Stieglitz reports that there are many secrets, fixes, and improvements.
Will Ark’s new patch v259 be released? There are no patch notes yet
There are currently no official patch notes for the new PC update. It is also not known what version number it will have. The last PC patch was version v258. Since it appears to be a larger patch, the new update could have version number v259.
In the official Ark forum, the following things are listed as new features “coming soon”:
- “Boss Wars”
- More Creatures, Gear, Armors, Weapons, & Structures!
- DirectX12 Mode for Windows 10! Approximate +20% perf
- Random GPU Driver crash fix: TrueSky
- GPU & CPU rendering optimizations
- [MORE NOTES TO COME]
It is uncertain whether these features will appear in tomorrow’s patch. Due to the time difference with America, the patch might not arrive here until the day after tomorrow. That would be June 22, a Thursday.
