It seems that there will be no Easter event in ARK Survival Evolved. However, it is not completely ruled out.
Update: There will indeed be an Easter event. The head developer of ARK, Jeremy Stieglitz, announced this on Twitter last night. The event is supposed to start “today”, so between Friday noon and Saturday morning. However, this only applies to PC. For PS4 and Xbox One, the Easter event for ARK will come with the next patch. Currently, 1.18 is scheduled for April 24. Players on PS4 and Xbox One will therefore celebrate Easter in ARK with a significant delay.

Recently, questions about an Easter event have frequently arisen in the ARK community. The survival game with the dinos is perfect for this. After all, the dinosaur eggs play a big role in ARK. Survivors can hatch small dinos or use them for Kibble for taming. Last year there was the “Eggcellent Adventure”, where the BunnyDodo and the BunnyOviraptor wreaked havoc. They laid colorful Easter eggs instead of regular eggs.
On Twitter, ARK’s “Lead Community Manager” announced that no Easter event for this year has been confirmed. However, his statement is somewhat ominous.
Jat says that up to this point no Easter event has been confirmed or revealed. Players should better assume that there will be no event. If anything changes, Studio Wildcard will announce it.
Wildcard lacks the time for an event this year
We assume that there will be no event. However, it would also not be a surprise if Studio Wildcard came up with something like a small “Breeding event”. Or something like that. Jat provides a reason in the comments of his tweet: The development team is too busy with the main game and the elaboration of the end-game. They simply lack the time for an Easter event this year.
