Trion’s Sandbox MMO ArcheAge receives multiple events and bug fixes with the January update. Particularly interesting are the big Animal Festival and the Reconstruction Event.
The big January update of ArcheAge brings a new event and lays the groundwork for further events in February. As every year, there is the cute “Animal Festival” (originally much cooler known as “Pawsome Festival”). Starting February 1, you can expect all sorts of cute creatures like cats and corgis.
Rebuild Auroria!
While you still have to wait for the Animal Festival, you can already speak to the masked Daru until January 31 and receive daily quests from him. In these, you will need to build something, and for your efforts, you will receive two valuable Warrior Medals and an achievement each. If you complete all tasks by the end of the event, you’ll also get a Guild XP potion that grants you 100 honor points, guild experience, and prestige.
In addition to these useful events, the January patch also fixes numerous bugs in ArcheAge and ensures better balancing. For example, sport fishing is now more lucrative, and fish yield up to 15 percent more profit when sold. Costume lovers can also look forward to more Synthium Shards per chest. Additionally, a bothersome quirk of ArcheAge has finally been fixed: the engine now renders significantly more objects simultaneously. NPCs that previously often did not appear are now a thing of the past.
