ARC Raiders has just been released and already in the tutorial, there is a good amount of loot to be gained for those who do things right. What do you have to do for that? Just drop everything.
How do you get the double loot? The ARC Raiders tutorial is only a few minutes long. In it, you learn the essential gameplay mechanics: movement, shooting, looting, and more. As you progress, you will eventually find yourself at the door of a closed pizzeria. If you’re smart, you can get double loot here.
If you try to break down the door to the closed pizzeria, you will be attacked by two NPCs. When you wake up, they have taken all the loot you had found up until that point – weapons, items, gear. Your inventory is empty.
However, if you drop all loot before you touch the door, you can pick it up again afterward. But you won’t find exactly what you threw out of your inventory; instead, you’ll find double the amount. Clever Reddit users have discovered this trick.
When the tutorial weapon is good and rubber ducks are expensive
Are there any more good tutorial tips? Nothing you find as loot in the tutorial is particularly valuable or helpful. But you gladly take the double loot for a head start in the game. Besides, there are a few helpful things to find. Especially because the pistol you get after the tutorial is worse than the tutorial Burletta.
In the tutorial, there is also more stuff than a starting player can fit in their inventory. You can get around this by breaking items down into stackable components. Then everything fits in the character’s pockets.
When you enter the closed pizzeria, there is also a rubber duck. It can later be sold for 1,000 Raider Coins. That’s a nice sum on top of the 5,000 coins you get at the start.

ARC Raiders seems to be doing quite well. Players praise the gunplay, movement, and crafting. The sound design is also appreciated. Some call it a good alternative to Escape from Tarkov. Especially the cooperative tackling of the monstrous ARCs is well received. With over 200,000 players on the first day alone, the shooter has made it into the top 5 on Steam.
