ARC Raiders is currently conducting a large Server Slam and every player, whether pre-order or interested, is warmly invited. You can find out when the final beta test starts and what you should know about it here.
When does the Server Slam start? The Server Slam is scheduled to take place from October 17 to October 19. There will be a slow rollout at the start, so players will have the chance to log in one by one before the servers are made available to everyone.
There is currently no official start time, but some fans suspect (Source: reddit.com), that it is set for 3 PM German time. The test is expected to end at 5 PM German time.
Free test and a reward
What can I test in the beta? Players will be able to test the first map at release, The Dam Battlegrounds. On this map, you will find yourself in a rugged forest, with abandoned research facilities.
On the map, there will be not only the new terrain but also special events that you can encounter. These include electromagnetic storms, Night Raids, and possibly a visit from the Queen (likely a huge robot boss overshadowing the map).
Additionally, you can accept quests from the inhabitants of Speranza, trade with them, and thus strengthen your reputation with them to get a feel for the interactions with the residents.
Weapons and other crafting options are also available to a certain extent. However, please note that any progress made during the Server Slam will be reset upon release.
Are there limited gifts? Yes, those who participate in the Server Slam will receive the “Server Slammer Backpack” upon purchasing ARC Raiders at release. You can only receive the backpack if you actually participated in the Server Slam. If you missed it, the backpack can never be obtained again. So if cosmetic items are important to you, you should not miss the date.
Is there a preload? There is currently no preload for the test. The download size is also not yet known (as of October 15, 10:47 AM).
