What a fight it was! In Apex Legends, brawls in close combat are becoming more frequent, even though players are equipped with weapons. They agree to discard guns, ammunition, items, and shields to resolve the confrontation with fists and feet.
This is about a team that faced a single player with three members and lost. They fought in 1v1s.
What did it look like in the game? There is video footage on Reddit from the player Willster191, who took it on alone against the 3-person team.
After being revived, Willster repeatedly crouched and then threw the contents of his inventory onto the ground. With this gesture, he showed the other players that he wanted to fight without weapons. They agreed and also threw their stuff on the ground.
In the first 1v1, he faced Pathfinder. The fight was extremely close but favored Willster. He was even able to heal afterwards to enter the next fight stronger.
In the 1v1 against Wraith, he was also able to prevail with kicks and punches.
Now the final duel against Bangalore was about to take place. Willster quickly landed 3 hits without taking damage himself. Bangalore quickly pulled back, grabbed a weapon, fired in the direction of the close combat fighter, and missed. Without losing health points, Willster won this third fight and was crowned the champion of the match.
