If you own a PS4 or PS5, you can currently take advantage of an offer that allows you to watch the movies and series from Apple TV+ for free. However, the promotion ends soon.
Who can take advantage of the offer? Anyone who owns a PS4 or PS5 can take advantage of the offer and watch Apple TV+ for free. However, there is a difference between the two consoles.
While PS5 players receive a free trial period of six months, PS4 users must settle for a much shorter period of 3 months.
How can I use Apple TV+ for free? Depending on the console you have at home, follow these steps:
If you have a PS5:
- Go to the PS5 search bar and look for the “Apple TV” app, alternatively, you can also check under “All Apps” in the media home screen
- Download the Apple TV app and open it
- Create an Apple ID if you don’t have one yet or enter your existing one
If you have a PS4:
- Go to the “TV & Video” section and search for the Apple TV app
- Download the Apple TV app and open it
- Create an Apple ID if you don’t have one yet or enter your existing one
However, remember to cancel the trial subscription in time if you do not wish to continue being a subscriber of Apple TV+ and pay the regular price of €6.99 per month.
However, the offer is only valid for new subscribers to Apple TV. This means that if you already have Apple TV+ or have had it in the past, you cannot take advantage of it.
How long is the offer still valid? The promotion is still running until July 31, 2023, and you can take advantage of the free trial subscription (via playstation.com).
