If you just want to play through the story of Anthem , you don’t have to pay the full price. Savers can avoid paying the full price.
On February 15, Anthem, the latest game from BioWare, entered Early Access. The official release follows a week later, on February 22, 2019.
But many “old” fans of BioWare are skeptical or torn. They don’t want to play a real “multiplayer shooter”, but at the same time, they don’t want to miss the story of a BioWare game. After all, a captivating story has always been what distinguished BioWare’s games. However, there is a budget-friendly solution for this.

Play Anthem for one month for €15: If you’re only interested in the story of Anthem and thus want to play the “main game” just once, you should have enough time to enjoy BioWare’s latest adventure within a month. Therefore, subscribing to an “Origin Access Premier” subscription for one month is worthwhile. It costs €15 and gives you access to many EA games for 30 days – including Anthem! However, this is only possible on PC.
For most players, this should be more than enough time to at least play through the story of Anthem.
Purchase options after the month: If you want to keep the game afterward, you can still buy the full version and even receive a 10% discount as long as the “Origin Access Premier” subscription is still active. Alternatively, you can simply keep the subscription running and retain access to Anthem and all other titles.
Especially story fans who want to see Anthem only for the plot and do not plan to spend months or years in multiplayer action should take note of this option. However, if you want to play Anthem in the long term, buying the full version might be the better choice.
A glimpse into the story is also provided by the short film Conviction.

Will you get Anthem at full price and “thoroughly play” the game? Or will you just get a “short-term subscription” and play through the story once before putting the game down again?
