As was the case with the VIP demo of Anthem, which had some issues, we are also setting up a live ticker for the open demo. This will keep you informed about the status of the demo and the servers.

The Live Ticker for the Open Demo of Anthem
Note on the Open Demo: In the meantime, there has been a patch for the demo, which is supposed to fix one of the biggest issues that occurred. This raises hopes that the demo will run more smoothly. However, since the rush on the servers will likely be high again, there may be problems once more.
As compensation for the disastrous start of the VIP demo, Bioware
- has announced something “cool” for the Open Demo on Sunday, February 3.
- Players of the VIP demo will receive another gift and
- can also access all 4 Javelins. Previously, only two were planned.
EA and Bioware ask everyone to report any bugs and glitches that occur to you on the provided site.
The official start of the demo is on February 1 at 18:01.

February 3, 17:09: Something is happening in the world of the Anthem demo. A strange phenomenon has appeared in the sky on some servers. Many players still cannot see it.
What it is about is unclear. It may be related to the event that is supposed to happen this evening. Presumably sometime between 8 PM and 2 AM. It will probably unfold in several phases and the first has already begun.
18:15: Players are now reporting that several small Titans are spawning on the map. Apparently, there are also more monsters and world events with larger Titans.
18:39: The login message has been updated: “The Storm: A strange storm is brewing in the sky. Rumor has it that giants are roaming the land. Enter “Free Play,” Freelander – we need your help outside the walls.”
It is still unclear whether this is just the first phase, or if more changes in the game world will occur later.
19:24: For many, the Titans have disappeared again. The storm is still visible in the sky. It seems that there are indeed multiple phases.
