In celebration of the “Mass Effect” holiday, there are many new skins in Anthem . You can look like most of the aliens from the video game series – and dance very silly.
Tomorrow is November 7th, which is the “N7 Day” for all BioWare fans every year. On this day, the “Mass Effect” franchise is celebrated, as the “N7” unit is an important part of the series. Since there is currently no new Mass Effect, it is celebrated in other ways – with new content in Anthem. If you wish, you can look like characters from Mass Effect in Anthem and even perform the legendary, silly dance of Commander Shepard.
What skins are available? There are four new skins that allow the Javelins to look like well-known aliens from Mass Effect. They are:
- Ranger gets a Turian look
- Storm looks like the Asari
- Colossus closely resembles the Krogan
- Interceptor looks like Quarians
How much do the skins cost? Each skin package costs 61,000 coins of in-game currency or 850 shards. This corresponds to a price of about €8.50.
Shepard Shuffle as a new emote: The “cherry on top” of the novelties is the new emote. The “Shepard Shuffle” allows your Javelin to dance in the same way that Shepard did in Mass Effect. And let’s put it this way: he was not exactly known for his dancing skills, so the “Shepard Shuffle” has become a common meme. It’s more of an uncontrolled wiggling back and forth than a real dance.
The dance is a bit cheaper and costs only 23,000 coins or 475 shards.
How long will the items stay in the game? According to current indications, the offer will only last a few days. Anyone who wants to buy the skins or the dance should do so by November 12.
What do you think of these new skins and the emote? A cool expansion for Anthem? Or a sad hour for Mass Effect?
