A new update is coming to Anthem. In line with the winter season, the world of Anthem is covered in snow. What else does the update contain?
This is Icetide: The winter event “Icetide” will definitely live up to its name. The map will be immersed in deep snow.
When is the update coming? The first players may have already caught a glimpse of Icetide. The event was playable for a while. Others can download the update starting today – as soon as the server downtime is over, Ice Flood should be playable.
These are the highlights of the update
These features are brought by Icetide: With the winter event, some new content is coming to Anthem. These are the main highlights:
1. Winter world Icetide: Those who are not familiar with the Ice Flood will be surprised during the next launch of Anthem. Even the jungle is covered with a layer of snow. Fort Tarsis will also be festively illuminated.
2. Seasonal Fortresses: Different seasonal fortresses will be unlocked weekly. They come with leaderboards – so you can compete with other players.
3. Time Trials: Are you a master of Javelin flight? Then the new time trials should be no problem for you: In free play, there are now eight different time trials where you can showcase your flying skills.
4. Harvesting the Ice Flood coolant: In this new legendary world event, you will help the Arcanist harvest coolant resources. After all, the snow won’t last forever! However, outlaws will stand in your way.
5. New offerings – Tombs of the Legionnaires: There are new Guardian Tokens available through daily and weekly challenges. Freelancers can sacrifice a Guardian Token and materials to receive legendary items in the Tombs of the Legionnaires. The tombs offer different items that have over +5 gear score.
