The Anime MMORPG Blue Protocol: Star Resonance (BP:SR) is currently preparing everything for the release. Now the developers are taking some time to talk about the past beta and share interesting and surprising facts.
Is fishing worth it in BP:SR? At least in the beta, where all progress is reset, fishing hasn’t actually been worth it. While the function includes a small minigame where we have to battle against the fish for our bait, there wasn’t a real reason to fish.
However, one player didn’t let this dissuade him. He diligently fished about 390 fish on average per day during the beta. In the end, according to an official video on YouTube, he caught over 6,704 fish in 17 days.
After release, fishing will be worth it in various aspects, as certain fish can be turned in at the guild merchant Douglas or used in recipes for buff food.

One class dominates the beta
Which class was played the most? The developers share not only facts about fishing in their video but also about the most popular class in the game. According to them, the Stormblade was played significantly more than all other classes in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance.
The Stormblade was played with 26.4%, making it by far the most played class. While the remaining classes attracted between 10.5% and 12.5% of the players, one class is far behind. The Heavy Guardian is the least popular class with 5.7%. The tank struggles alone without a group to perform, which could explain the low pick rate.
What about the bosses in the game? The first dungeon, Goblin Lair, was completed nearly 450,000 times by players during the beta, making it the most frequently completed dungeon. The numbers for world bosses are considerably smaller: The completion rate of the most frequently defeated world boss, Golden Juggernaut, is only 3,477 times.
On the other hand, the Tempest Ogre has defeated the most players. He took down 283,460 adventurers. However, the boss was also positioned in the beta so that many players were engaged in a fight with him immediately upon spawning in his area, which could explain the kill score.
Nearly 15,000 players joined a guild in the beta of the MMORPG, with 1,700 being founded. However, only 3,662 players reached the maximum level of 60.
Blue Protocol: Star Resonance has announced its release for October 9, 2025, and will be available for free on Steam, iOS, and Android.
