In World of Warcraft, Anima is once again useful. You can exchange it for crafting materials.
The Anima drought in World of Warcraft ended a few weeks ago, but players struggled to purchase meaningful items with Anima. With a hotfix, Blizzard has now created an option for this. From now on, you can spend Anima to buy essential crafting materials like Korthite Crystals!
What was the problem? For many months, players in World of Warcraft complained about the lack of Anima. With Patch 9.1, that changed, and the Anima drought quickly turned into an abundance. Soon, players didn’t know what to do with their Anima since they had unlocked all interesting rewards. Some even reached the cap on Anima and asked in frustration: Where should I put all this stuff now?
What has now been done? With the hotfix, you can now exchange excess Anima for crafting materials at a vendor. The prices seem quite high, but currently, it is relatively easy to earn 5,000 to 6,000 Anima per day, so you can quickly have a high surplus if you play regularly.
Where can you buy the items? You can do this in Oribos. Just visit the hall in the northeast, where the Great Vault with the weekly reward is located. There you can find the NPC “Tu’kol”, who, along with some other brokers, has exchange offers ready. He accepts Anima and gives you the desired resources in return.
What does the NPC sell? Currently, Tu’kol has four different offers. They are:
- 5 Korthite Crystals cost 25,000 Anima
- 10 Heavy Hide cost 7,500 Anima
- 20 Elethium Ore cost 7,500 Anima
- 20 Shadeweave cost 7,500 Anima
So he covers the most expensive basic resources for most professions, allowing players to stock up with additional Anima. Especially Korthite Crystals are useful as they are needed to upgrade legendary items to ranks 5 and 6. However, purchasing leather can also be beneficial since it is often sold at a high price in the auction house.
What do you think of this option to get rid of Anima? A good alternative if you have too much Anima? Or is this just a new obligation, forcing everyone to farm Anima now?
