In Where Winds Meet, you can don beautiful and unique garments. However, your appearance also impresses the NPCs in the game.
What is the deal with the outfits? In Where Winds Meet, there are countless outfits, accessories, hats, and all sorts of fun items that you can dress your character in. But not only real players in co-op and multiplayer can react to your outfits.
A user reports on Reddit about a dialogue that you can only get if you wear the right clothing “Transitory Bloom” at the right moment.
Our experts have discussed Where Winds Meet. You can listen to the whole talk here:
The right outfit for a special appearance
Where can you find the dialogue? At a certain point in the main story of Where Winds Meet, you must team up with an NPC to sneak into a building. For this, the NPC has specially brought the right dancer outfit so that the mission remains discreet.
However, the outfit that the NPC has procured for you can already be purchased and equipped in the shop beforehand. If you do this before the mission, your character will react with a special dialogue.
What is said? Your character cheekily responds at that moment by saying that they are already wearing that outfit. The NPC then asks where the clothing is from. The character replies that they bought it at the store, to which the NPC asks about the price.
The character explains that the outfit for the mission cost 60 pearls, after which the NPC comments that it is quite a bargain and mocks the sellers a bit.
How do you get the outfit? The dancer outfit needed for the special dialogue is not free. You need to buy it in the shop under the Appearance tab. The price for the “Transitory Bloom” outfit is 60 pearls, which is about one Euro.
Besides the special cutscene, which many may have missed, the outfit is merely cosmetic and offers no advantages in the game. Quite the opposite of a horse, which could almost be considered pay-to-win.
Where Winds Meet continually impresses players with small details and niceties. Even little things like the outfit of your character are taken into account. But the difficulty level has not become too easy: Player from Where Winds Meet fights a boss for 5 hours, has to give up, now the community comes to the rescue
