The new chapter of One Piece surprises with an open ending and leaves the fate of part of the Straw Hat crew uncertain. A well-known insider of the anime, who also worked on the live-action adaptation of One Piece, has a plausible theory.
Attention, Spoilers: The following article contains spoilers for manga chapter 1126 of One Piece.
What happened? By the end of the chapter, part of the Straw Hat crew, along with the Thousand Sunny, has disappeared. Specifically, it is the part of the members who have been in the crew the longest. This includes Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper. Among them are two members who could be important in the upcoming arc.
At the end of the chapter, it is shown that Nami awakens from unconsciousness or sleep. She suddenly wears Viking clothing and has a sword on her back. Moreover, she cannot remember where she is.
However, inferences can be drawn from the surroundings about where Nami and presumably the others are. The well-known One Piece insider newworldartur believes to know where the Straw Hat crew is located.
All members who have disappeared also appear in the movie where Chopper joins the crew. Here you can find the trailer:
One Piece: Some Straw Hats May Already Be in Elbaf
Where could Luffy, Nami, and the others be? Nami wakes up in a building that looks like a castle. In the background, stone walls and a railing can be seen. However, on closer inspection, it can be seen that the individual objects have bumps on them.
According to the insider, the surroundings could be a house made of LEGO. Since the giants are much larger than humans, Nami and the others could be in a toy house built by one of the giants.
You can watch his video on the theory here. The theory is discussed starting at 11:58:
How likely is that? Since the Viking ship with the Straw Hat crew keeps moving towards Elbaf, it could indeed be the case that part of the crew has already landed on Elbaf.
Nami’s outfit suggests that someone who is from Elbaf must have dressed her. The Viking outfit thematically fits the upcoming arc. Since Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, is a big fan of LEGO, the theory could also fit.
There are already some things that the manga has hinted about Elbaf in advance. For example, the land is ruled by Prince Loki, and some of the places you have already seen in flashbacks from Big Mom.
