Why are the original founders exiting 7 vs. Wild? In a new statement video, founders Fritz Meinecke, Max Kovacs, and Johannes Hovekamp spoke about their exit from 7 vs. Wild. The show’s founders started the project in 2021 with minimal resources before it rapidly grew to become one of the largest survival shows in Germany.
The three founders decided together after Season 4 to leave the project behind and voluntarily exit production. They emphasized in the video that they want to dedicate themselves to new, different projects and that the chapter of 7 vs. Wild is now closed for them.
In the last four seasons, the founders were responsible for location selection, rules, participant selection, and the duration of the season. Their thanks in the new video goes to the many people around them who contributed to 7 vs. Wild growing to such a size. But this is not the end of the show.

How will 7 vs. Wild continue? Even though the founders of the show have left their own series behind, there will be another season of 7 vs. Wild. After Season 2, the production company Calivision Network GmbH bought the survival show and is now continuing to produce it without the founders.
The fifth season of 7 vs. Wild will take place in the Amazonas, and the candidates are already known. Fritz Meinecke, Johannes Hovecamp, and Max Kovacs have nothing more to do with the season, as Meinecke recently stated.
However, life goes on for them, and they want to continue showcasing themselves on YouTube. While Fritz Meinecke has made cycling his main content for some time, Max Kovacs and Johannes Hovecamp continue to produce formats for various YouTube channels, just as they did for 7 vs. Wild.
