2. The concept of the Servants is interesting, especially Archer
What is the deal with the Servants? Each Servant is assigned to one of seven classes that define specific characteristics and abilities. For example, the Saber class, which includes King Arthur (or Arturia), is famous for sword fighting and excellent close combat skills. The Archer class, on the other hand, is among the masters of ranged combat.
Fate/Zero presents some of the most impressive and charismatic Servants of all time – each character brings not only combat power but also personality, ideals, and their own philosophy.
Why is Archer so special? In Fate/Zero, Gilgamesh is the Servant of the Archer class. Gilgamesh is the king of Uruk and one of the oldest recorded hero figures in human history. This makes him the first great hero of mankind, and he remains one of the most significant figures in the entire Fate franchise.
He is absolutely self-confident and believes that he is superior to all other people and heroes. And although Gilgamesh is not a classic “villain”, he still comes across as an almost insurmountable antagonist. Together with Kirei Kotomine, he forms an interesting duo that decisively shapes the course of the series and plunges the Grail War into chaos.
