About a year ago, the first season of the anime Solo Leveling started. The anime was able to capture many fans right away. The second season is set to follow in early 2025, but there is a way to see it before everyone else.
What kind of opportunity is that? On November 26, 2024, the movie Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- will be released in theaters here. It mostly consists of a summary from the first season of the anime and the first two episodes of season 2, which will be titled:
- Episode 13: You aren’t E-Rank, are You
- Episode 14: I Suppose You aren’t Aware
Thus, anime fans who go to the cinema have the opportunity to watch the beginning of season 2 as a short version before anyone else. If you want to see the movie, you should keep an eye on the schedule of your trusted cinema. Solo Leveling -ReAwakening- should premiere here on November 26.
By the way, Germany is the very first country in the world to see the movie in theaters. Even Korea and Japan will show the film on November 28 and 29, 2024.

Solo Leveling might be something for MMORPG fans
What is Solo Leveling? The anime is based on a popular webtoon and resembles well-known MMORPGs. In the real world, gates suddenly appear that are connected to another dimension. Since then, more and more people with supernatural abilities, known as hunters, are awakening.
The hunters make a living by clearing the dungeons behind the gates. The hero of the story, Jin Woo, is also a hunter. However, he is considered the weakest hunter of all humanity.
Through a deadly accident in a high-ranking dungeon, a strange quest window appears, allowing him to level up. This unlocks unforeseen powers for Jin Woo, and he gets a second chance to prove himself as a hunter.
When does the second season premiere? If you don’t want to go to the movies, you’ll have to wait until January 2025. Then the second season of Solo Leveling is supposed to start. You will need an active subscription on Crunchyroll to watch the anime.
Unfortunately, MeinMMO editor Niko Hernes couldn’t find any excitement in the hype surrounding Solo Leveling.
