For a few days, you can get a very special toy in World of Warcraft. But you need to hurry, because time is running out.
Over the years, quite a bit of toys have accumulated in World of Warcraft. What used to be a small, manageable collection of around 100 items has now grown to well over 800 items. Some of them are no longer available, very rarely found, or can only be obtained for impossible amounts of gold.
One of these toys can now be “grabbed for free”.
What kind of toy is it? The “Goblin Weather Machine” ensures that you always have perfect weather with you – at least if you are not particularly picky. Depending on its function, the toy makes a small weather effect appear above your character. This can be a thundercloud, clear sunshine, or snowfall.
What do you have to do? To obtain the Goblin Weather Machine, you must connect your Battle.net account with your Twitch account. Once again, you have to consume a total of 4 hours of WoW content on Twitch within a specific time frame. Make sure to catch streamers who have “Twitch Drops” enabled. The action period is:
- Start: February 1 at 19:00
- End: February 6 at 8:59
As usual, you do not need to actively watch the streamer. If you are not interested in WoW streams on Twitch, you can simply let it run in the background and claim the reward for your Battle.net account after the 4 hours have passed.
Where does the toy come from? Originally, the toy comes from the “Warcraft Trading Card Game,” which was discontinued several years ago. Back then, the weather machine was a special loot card. Currently, you can obtain the weather machine if you spend a lot of gold in the black market auction house and have a lot of luck.
The current method via Twitch Drops is probably the cheapest way to get this reward.
