What kind of event is this?
AMD itself announced the ‘together we advance_PCs’, a livestream premiere for the presentation of AMD next-gen PC products (via twitter.com).
The event takes place on August 30, 2022, at 1:00 AM.
You can watch the stream either directly on AMD’s website or on the official YouTube channel. We will embed the official AMD channel for you as soon as it is available.
Which products for gamers will be shown?
According to AMD, it will only be about next-gen PC products, especially the AMD Ryzen 7000 ‘Zen 4’ CPUs, the new AM5 platform, and the ‘DDR5 EXPO DRAM’. We expect there will be information on specifications of Ryzen 7000, prices, and the release date.
There may also be a short teaser at the very end about AMD’s new RX 7000 graphics cards, as AMD regularly teases new products at the end of an event. But this is just a guess.
There is no official date yet. Some rumors speculate that Ryzen 7000 will officially be released on September 15. But it may also be that AMD starts sales already after the event. Especially if you want to buy Ryzen 7000, this event could be important for you.
What do you think? Are you also looking forward to the presentation of Ryzen 7000 or considering buying new hardware? Or does it all leave you cold because you are happy with your current setup? Tell us in the comments!
More information about processors: There are already some leaks around Ryzen 7000. It is said that mid-range processors with graphics chips are also coming.
