A gaming headset feels like it accompanies you for half the day. If you work from home like I do, you have the device on your head all the time, talking to colleagues or listening to music when you want to distract yourself.
Therefore, it is important that the headset fits perfectly and the sound is satisfying. In my opinion, I found the perfect gaming headset about a year ago, and it is the Logitech G Pro X. Currently, you can get my favorite among headsets at a really good price.

The Logitech G Pro X is a great headset in my opinion
What kind of headset is this? The Logitech G Pro X is a closed, wired headset that you can connect directly to your gaming PC or your PS5.

What advantages does the headset offer? Advantages include especially the really good sound and particularly the high wearing comfort. I have a head circumference of 58 cm, which means I have a small head, but the headset fits me perfectly. I find especially great that the gaming headset comes with a lot of accessories:
- A fabric bag
- several cables for PC, console, and phone
- a USB sound card with which you can connect the headset to your PC or your console
- a second pair of ear cushions if you want to swap yours
The microphone is also absolutely fine. My colleagues and friends understand me when we have important phone calls or when I play a few rounds in the evening. Therefore, the headset fulfills three important tasks for me:
- Good sound, because I want to have fun while gaming.
- The wearing comfort, because I have to wear such a headset for hours on end.
- The microphone is good enough that my colleagues and friends can hear me clearly.
Are there also disadvantages? You do not get replacement parts for every component. For example, you cannot buy replacement ear cushions directly from Logitech. Here, you have to rely on third-party suppliers. Similar applies to the microphone, as Logitech only offers the main cable as a replacement part.
Another annoyance is that you cannot fold the headset. I especially notice this when I am on vacation or traveling and take my headset with me. Because it takes up a lot of space and cannot be made smaller.
