It was already rumored on the internet that Trion Worlds would announce a new expansion for the MMORPG RIFT at gamescom, but now it has been officially confirmed.
Starfall Prophecy will be released this fall and will expand RIFT with several new content. You will explore five new, very large zones, where two dungeons await to be discovered by you. The namesake raid Starfall Prophecy will pose a great challenge to all RIFT players while simplifying participation in raids with a new raid system. You can also look forward to a new loot system, which will always provide you with the best items for your class.

With the new expansion, the level cap will be raised to level 70, and a new crafting tier and more guild tiers will be introduced. Your hero can also gain Legendary powers. These are based on the soul system of the MMO and allow you to further customize your character. Of course, new items, the Eternal Items, as well as new dimension fragments to enhance your equipment will also be available.
Especially interesting is the introduction of fortress sieges and massive battles in which you can participate alone, in groups, or in raids. If you find yourself in the heart of a rift, new Rift Assault Adventures and Instant Adventures await you.
