3. Orks
Just like the Imperial Army, the Orks focus on mass, but they also have elite units that can hold their own against Space Marines. The strength of the faction lies in the ability to flood the battlefield with units, which very few other factions can really handle.
The composition of the army is very balanced with troops for close or ranged combat that complement each other well without needing too much micro-management. Especially in close combat, you have some of the best units in the game.
Thanks to the WAAAGH mechanic, you are forced to play aggressively and offensively: You can only advance if there are more Orks and corresponding war buildings. This fits extraordinarily well with the culture of the Orks, which is fully geared towards war.
Orks are generally considered the easiest faction to play, making them ideal for newcomers. However, their biggest disadvantage is their weakness in the late game. Aside from the Squiggoth, you have no notable strong units in the late game and must decide the game early for yourself; otherwise, you will have a problem.
