What can the Heavy Guardian do? The second tank in the group is almost essential for large groups and raids. Not only does the class take extreme amounts of damage, with good defensive stats, with the right specialization, it can also protect allies from incoming damage.
The Heavy Guardian can effectively group hordes of enemies thanks to a very good pull ability, making it particularly useful in add phases of a boss fight. With the block specialization, it also negates many attacks from enemies, making it a good choice for raiders.
What are the pros and cons? The Heavy Guardian is always a good tank when it matters. It can protect allies from incoming damage with an ability and generally provides good crowd control with its skills.
As good as the class is, it hardly manages without a healer in contrast to the Shield Knight. Besides lacking self-heal, the class also deals slightly less damage than the Shield Knight in his “Radiant Guard” specialization. However, if you are only playing Blue Protocol: Star Resonance for the raids and dungeons, you are making the right choice with the Heavy Guardian.
