The sandbox MMORPG Albion Online is about to be released. Before the launch, the developers will still publish an extensive update.
On July 17, the MMORPG Albion Online will officially launch. Currently, the developers are still working on additional features and optimizations to make the launch as pleasant as possible and the release version a smooth game. This also includes the Hector update, which will be implemented before the launch of the MMORPG.

A ride on the Mammoth
This update brings Mammoths as new mounts. You can ride on these prehistoric animals through the game world and will surely draw all the looks while on the backs of the furry beasts. Additionally, the Destiny Board has been revamped, which allows you to track your progress in the game. More solo dungeons with challenging opponents are intended to spice up the PvE. New players will also find it easier to navigate the game. New Hellgates, the black market, and many other features will also be introduced.
Hector shows the “finished” game
The developers state that Albion Online with the Hector update is as it will be at launch. Until the release in July, the team will only focus on bug fixing and optimizations. Further features and larger changes will then come with updates that will be worked on after the release of the MMORPG.
The Hector update will be implemented today, on June 7th. If you are already exploring the beta of Albion Online, you will experience the game after today’s update as it will be at the official launch.
