Ascent: Infinite Realm (A:IR) by Bluehole is set to be a fast-paced action MMO with steampunk mechs and airships. This has been known for some time. However, new is the monster breeding feature, which a clever beta tester recently discovered.
The monster construction kit for the perfect mount or pet
In A:IR, there is housing and among the buildable objects, there is also a stable. In it, you can create monsters. There are various “monster memories” that you can find in the game as quest rewards.
The special feature of the system is that you can freely combine the parts. While only components of the same monster type can be used for now, the variations are already impressive. The beta tester Sera has already experimented with a griffin and a lion, posting pictures of them in the forum.
Thus, the lion could become a winged lion creature or gain an even more magnificent mane. The monsters bred this way can then be used as mounts and probably also as pets in the game.
