In the Free2Play MMORPG Aion, the first images of the armor sets coming with 5.0 are available.
Patch 5.0 will mark a significant change in Aion, having already been released in Korea. Players will begin their quests to obtain new gear.
NCSoft has released a video showcasing the new armor sets that players can acquire with 5.0. The patch not only made significant visual changes but also raised the level cap, allowing players to ascend to “higher Daevas” and opening up entirely new horizons for them.
In EU-Aion, attention is being given to the Steam release and server mergers
When patch 5.0 will arrive in Europe is still unknown; we are still playing version 4.8 – in the USA, 4.9 was recently released.
EU-Aion under Gameforge currently has different plans. In December, the focus will be entirely on the Steam release of Aion. The USA was ahead in this regard; since the end of October, Aion has been playable in the US NCSoft version – but not for us in Europe.
(Yes, Aion was once on Steam, but was likely removed during the F2P transition.)
Regardless: In January/February, the long-anticipated server mergers will take place at EU-Aion.
