The German streamer Jens “Knossi” Knossalla is hosting the next big live event on Twitch starting tomorrow, May 28, together with rapper Sido. The Medieval Camp will last for 48 hours and is expected to attract thousands of viewers again.
It starts tomorrow: It kicks off on May 28 at 6:00 PM on Knossi’s Twitch channel. Under the name “Medieval Camp,” there will be 48 hours of live streaming from a castle. The event is organized by Knossi together with rappers Sido and Manny Marc and YouTuber UnsympathischTV.
The event follows the 3 past camps from the previous year. With the Fishing Camp and the Horror Camp, Knossi set a German viewer record on Twitch respectively. However, the Christmas Camp at the end of the year did not perform so well. Now, with the Medieval Camp, there is a new attempt.
Medieval Camp on Twitch – What happens there?
This is already known: The event is set to run for a full 48 hours. It ends on May 30 at 6:00 PM. So, you will be entertained on Twitch all weekend.
The exact location has not been revealed yet, but the event is supposed to take place in a castle that reflects the medieval style. Additionally, other locations will be set up around the castle. Among other things, animals are supposed to play a role that will be roaming the grounds.
Viewers can already vote on how the streamers should dress and which items they should bring to the camp (via streamblast.com). The Medieval Camp will be partially interactive, and the viewers can help decide.
This is how the camps went in the past: The success began with the Fishing Camp in summer 2020. At that time, Knossi, Sido, Manny Marc, and UnsympathischTV met by a lake to fish. For an entire weekend, the 4 friends took their viewers along on Twitch. Back then, they broke the viewer record for German streams on Twitch with a peak of 310,000 simultaneous viewers.
Even more successful was the Horror Camp in October 2020. There, the 4 friends met again in a horror house and streamed again for several days. There, almost 329,000 viewers watched simultaneously at the peak.
Highlights of these events always included numerous guests, such as MontanaBlack at the Fishing Camp or Klaas Heufer-Umlauf at the Horror Camp. Additionally, Sido rounded off the shows with a concert. For the Horror Camp, the 4 friends even recorded a brand new song that they performed live on Twitch.
