The Twitch streamer Metashi has once again conducted his charity campaign March with Heart
. He has now shared the results.
What kind of charity campaign is this? The streamer Metashi regularly goes live on Twitch. Until recently, he primarily played World of Warcraft as part of the Twitch project Sauercrowd. Now, his streams in March also had a good cause: He collected donations for children with cancer together with other Twitch streamers.
Metashi has been conducting his own project March with Heart
since 2020. Every donation made during his stream goes directly to the campaign.
The project ensures that the German Cancer Aid and the German Children’s Cancer Foundation are supported with funds. It focuses on improving cancer prevention and the general care of young patients. Additionally, more children’s cancer centers are being established, and research and teaching in this area are being advanced.
For 2026, Metashi started a day earlier in the March with Heart
and donations could be collected since February 28, 2026.
18 Twitch Streamers Collect Donations
How much was raised? This year, Metashi was able to raise a total of 178,896 euros with March with Heart
(as of April 2, 2026, 11:50 AM). Metashi also shared the success of the campaign on X.
Last year, Metashi achieved a remarkable milestone with his donation project: Total donations reached the sum of one million euros!

The streamers were equipped with special donation animations, overlays, Twitch panels, and a title image for the campaign. Together with the Twitch community, they raised money for a great cause. By the way, Metashi’s campaign will be repeated next year.
Besides March with Heart
, Metashi was also very busy this year with the WoW Twitch project Sauercrowd. Together with streamers Papaplatte and HandOfBlood, he initiated the project and invited over 200 more streamers to join. After the end of Sauercrowd, some winners remained: 10 big winners of Sauercrowd – for these Twitch streamers, the adventure in WoW Classic Hardcore was worth it
