At the THQ Nordic Showcase on August 11, 2023, a first trailer for the successor of a well-known action RPG was shown: Titan Quest 2.
Titan Quest 2 follows in the footsteps of the first installment, which was released in 2006 under the publisher THQ, and throws you into ancient Greece.
Behind the new installment is the developer studio Grimlore Games, best known for their strategy game Spellforce 3.
Like Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2, Titan Quest 2 is an action RPG. However, here you fight against Titans and other mythological creatures.

Campaign and Online Multiplayer
What is Titan Quest 2 about? In Titan Quest 2, Nemesis, the goddess of vengeance, has gone out of control and is manipulating the threads of fate with malice. All those who stand in her way, she condemns for eternity.
Now it is up to you to take up the fight alongside the gods against her and save the fate of the world. Along the way, you will face various challenges, loot, and create a powerful hero.
These are the core elements of Titan Quest 2:
- In challenging battles, you face creatures from Greek mythology, including centaurs, griffins, sirens, and harpies.
- You can play Titan Quest 2 alone – or you can fight together with your friends in online multiplayer against Nemesis.
- A flexible character system is one of the main features, where you create your own class through master classes. It is also possible to create hybrid classes.
- Upgrading items is also part of the features. You should be able to upgrade even simple weapons to legendary items.

When is the release of Titan Quest 2? So far, no specific release date has been announced. Currently, it says on Steam that the game will be “available soon.”
