Pokémon GO is currently struggling significantly with Adventure Sync. This is mainly reported by Apple users. Especially shortly before Adventure Week, these problems are severe.
What kind of problems are there? The steps and kilometers in Adventure Sync are not being counted correctly in some cases. This means that some players may walk over 50 kilometers, but are credited with significantly fewer kilometers.
Especially for the Adventure Week, where there are extremely high rewards for 50 kilometers, a functioning Adventure Sync is important.

Which players are affected? Mainly, players with Apple devices are complaining about Adventure Sync. It seems that the biggest problems exist there. However, there are also some Android players experiencing issues.
Are there solutions for this? There is no general solution to the problem. It is advised to completely uninstall and redownload Pokémon GO. This has helped some players.

What does Niantic say about the problems? On Twitter, Pokémon GO developer Niantic has already commented on the issues. They say that the next update, which is currently being rolled out, should resolve the problems. However, there has not yet been any confirmation from players regarding this.
What do players say about it? Many trainers are simply disappointed about the problems. Such issues have reportedly been occurring for over 3 weeks, and there is still no reasonable solution from the developers.
One thread on Reddit has already received over 2000 upvotes, addressing exactly this issue. One user, “cak91687,” wrote: “I hope Adventure Sync is fixed before the start of Adventure Week.” and added the following image:
Under the image, hundreds of trainers agree with the thread. They report similar issues and also hope that the problems will be resolved by Adventure Week.
However, Niantic has little time until then, as the event starts this evening, June 4, at 10 PM.
