The story of the Skull Trooper? The Skull Trooper skin, which first appeared in Halloween 2017, recently reappeared in the shop. There was also a special challenge, and some players complained that this unique skin has now become totally ordinary.

So far, there is the standard version and a green-glowing version. Those who purchased the Trooper back then will receive a purple variant.
Red Skull Trooper for the “OGs”? The new color variant of the Skull Trooper is fire red and aptly named “Red Flames”. More is not known. However, it might be that the skin is another goodie for those who bought the original version from 2017.
Some players were upset that as fans from the beginning and “OGs” (Original Gangsters), they now have no special skin anymore, as it feels like everyone is running around with it.
The current purple color variant hardly stands out as something special according to some players – a fire red glowing Trooper, however, does.
New event reward? However, it may also be that you can unlock the new version in an event that comes for Halloween. In the past, there have been several such events that allowed you to unlock various outfit variants for a short time.
Is the Ghoul Trooper coming soon?
New Halloween skin suspected: Meanwhile, many players suspect that Epic will bring additional skins before Halloween at the end of the month that were already released in 2017.
As a logical follow-up to the Skull Trooper, this would now be the “Ghoul Trooper”. That was the female Halloween skin back then and depicted the soldier Ramirez dressed as a zombie.
Interestingly, the Ghoul Trooper was never as popular as the Skull Trooper. But that shouldn’t stop Epic from putting this skin back in the shop in October.
It is likely that there will also be various color schemes, an extra option for original buyers, an alternative male version, and a back accessory.
