In the current episode 7 vs. Wild, a team sets out to find drinking water and goes way too far in the process. When they cannot find drinking water and want to be picked up, the rescue team is no longer able to locate them.

Who is setting out and why? The team of Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler (29) and Wieland “Rumathra” Welte (27) embarks on a journey in the current episode to find drinking water. The stream, which has been dwindling more and more in the last episodes, now carries so little water that the quality of the water is suffering. The team decides to pack all the important things and walk to the next drinking water source.
The participants did not want to simply wait out the last few days. According to their statements, they might have managed to last the rest of the time, but saw no point in just sleeping and lying in bed for 4 days to conserve their water resources.
In fact, such a long journey is not allowed; the contestants are supposed to stay in the vicinity of the drop-off location so that a rescue can be carried out smoothly.
How far have the two walked? The two have walked about 6 kilometers. Although the team has hardly any energy left on day 10, they made the final attempt to find drinking water. They walked for about 4 hours until they finally arrived at the spot of the eliminated participants Fritz Meinecke (34) and Martin “SurvivalMattin” Rudloff (40). As with the other contestants before, Trymacs and Rumathra do not find fresh water at the spot.
After some time, the two decide to send the “Code-Yellow” signal, which indicates an elimination from the season and a pick-up. Without fresh water, the participants cannot survive.

The rescue team arrives, but the participants are not there
Why were the participants not found? Due to their march, Trymacs and Rumathra have now arrived at the spot of Fritz Meinecke and SurvivalMattin. However, with a “Code-Yellow” signal, the rescue team is scheduled to go to the participants’ spot. Therefore, the participants were 6 kilometers away.
When a local search operation failed, the rescue team received a location for the participants. A rescue worker can hardly believe their eyes.
“They are making it hard for us today, right? These two nerds are walking nearly 6 kilometers around here, even though they are completely exhausted. They are heroes.”

Upon arriving at the spot of Fritz Meinecke and SurvivalMattin, where Trymacs and Rumathra had already been waiting for some time, the rescue proceeded apparently smoothly. The team was able to be brought to safety by boat and has been eliminated.
How are the remaining teams doing? The wildcard team experienced loud wolf howls last night, but seems not to be concerned about it. Most of the time in the episode, they spend with their daily activities, finding and preparing snails, fishing, and making fire. The freshly found tools from their outing in the last episode make their life in the wilderness even easier. The team seems to be in good spirits and confident of victory.
What is going on with Papaplatte and Reeze? The two are looking for new materials for their bed in this episode because the past nights have not been very pleasant for the team. Also, as the nights are getting colder, the team is now exhausted. In the last episodes, the team was repeatedly plagued by illnesses. Today, the team is taking water again, mixed with Elotrans, to balance their mineral intake. They also want to spend the last night on the beach; currently, they are sleeping inland.
How are Knossi and Sascha doing? After the feces finding from last night, the team is being more cautious regarding wolves. The two decide to build some kind of door for their shelter to protect against potential attacks.
The two are successful in fishing again in this episode. Even though a net is now broken, they have caught by far the most fish at 7 vs. Wild.
