Which game is it? Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a tactical role-playing game that was released in 2022. The game comes from a renowned studio, namely Firaxis Games. The developers are known for titles like Civilization or the XCOM series, which even the editors at MeinMMO find appealing.
Although a well-known developer was behind Midnight Suns, the game became a commercial failure (via x.com). While it was already available for free on the Epic Store, it currently has a historically low price on Steam.

You always have a range of options in your hand of cards, from which you need to choose wisely. The fact that you control famous heroes like Spider-Man or Blade makes Midnight Suns especially interesting for Marvel fans.
At launch, the game went unnoticed and received little attention from players. On Steam, Midnight Suns recorded a peak of only 15,000 concurrent players since its release (via steamdb.info). Those who overlooked or ignored the game back then might give it a chance now.
How much does the game cost? Midnight Suns is currently 85% off on Steam. Instead of the full price of €59.99, you pay only €8.99 until November 21, 2024.
How is the game received by users? Those who played Midnight Suns draw a “very positive” conclusion on Steam. Over 13,000 users have submitted a review, with 82% of them being positive.
The reviews especially praise the story, the characters, and the turn-based battles. User Kalimgard summarizes: “A nicely designed, mechanically competent superhero card game.”
