This week there were some good news at WoW and Lost Ark. On the other hand, TERA has been permanently shut down. Furthermore, we introduced three new MMORPGs. All the important news of the week is summarized here.
The highlights of the week:
- Hope for Dragonflight! Blizzard buys an entire studio with over 100 developers, who are also directly assigned to the new expansion for WoW. However, Cortyn from MeinMMO still has something to complain about: “Blizzard, you make it hard for me to like you again.”
- Lost Ark has released the big June update. It includes new endgame content, a revision of the weekly resets, and much more. However, players also miss something, namely sexy swimwear.
- TERA was shut down on June 30 after over 10 years. Players took an emotional farewell.
The scandal of the week: MMORPGs are among the most successful gaming genres ever, but that is not due to your beloved PC games, as new statistics show.
