The players of Helldivers 2 have numerous wishes for the shooter. However, one player wants to play it safe and chooses a path that brings the community to his side.
Who is it about? The player Hazman62 is currently getting the Helldivers on his side on Reddit. Instead of just submitting a new proposal like everyone else, he took the effort and provided a concept on how the feature can be implemented in the game.
To make it impactful, he created a presentation and explained to the community and developers on six pages why his wish is good and how it can be implemented best.

What weapon does the player want? Hazman62 would like the popular akimbo weapons from Call of Duty in Helldivers 2. Just like in the Activision shooter, players should be able to wield two secondary weapons simultaneously instead of a primary weapon.
The double firepower also comes with some disadvantages. The fan’s plan foresees that recoil will increase and reload time will rise. Additionally, players should not be able to have a primary weapon.
With the desired feature, instead of a new weapon, a new mode for many already available weapons in the game would come. This would also benefit those who have already found their favorite weapon.
How are fans reacting to the presentation? The fans of Helldivers 2 are celebrating the user’s proposal. On Reddit, they are already planning which weapons they will soon take into battle:
