In Path of Exile 2, a player had an idea that the developers liked so much that they brought it directly into the game.
What was that idea? As in most games, every gamer probably has some idea on how to make the game better in their opinion. This was also the case for Jazzlike_Situation_8, who suggested on Reddit to add a new filter for trading.
He wanted to be able to filter for items that have a certain degree of total resistance against elements. This way, one could display items that for example offer 30% resistance against cold damage and 40% resistance against lightning damage.
This so-called pseudo-filter thus combines several existing filters into a single, convenient filter. In order to possibly get it into the game, he presented his idea on Reddit and shortly after received a response from the developers.

Good suggestion is quickly implemented
How is the suggestion received? The user’s suggestion quickly finds favor on Reddit. Others also consider the idea as reasonable and actually implementable. But not only other players, but also the developers of Path of Exile 2 came across the post.
Community Manager Belakay commented: “Hello! We are constantly striving to improve trading. Perhaps you noticed that our web team recently added ‘Fractured’ as a search term. Pseudo resistances are something we would love to add as soon as we have the opportunity to do so.”
While the players initially rejoice at the quick and positive response, only 3 hours pass before the developers respond a second time.
What else do the developers have to say? In the new comment, the developers announce good news for the players. They have implemented the idea within the 3 hours, and it is now directly available in the game.
Well, the web developers have worked their magic! Pseudo mods can now be searched for! This does not currently apply retroactively, so previously listed items cannot be found. However, we are working on it. You need to restart your client to see this change in the game’s browser.
The developers of Path of Exile 2 have thus worked quickly and brought the change into the game just 3 hours after its discovery. For the fans, this is an extremely positive message, and they are praising the staff of Grinding Gear Games and even wishing them a promotion on Reddit.
That the developers of Path of Exile 2 really care about the game is also demonstrated by the head himself.
