Some role-playing games like The Witcher 3 keep fans engaged on Steam even years after they were released. A fan discovered a new trick after 9 years that allowed him to access a well-protected area that many of you might not be familiar with.
What kind of area is it? In the southeastern part of Velen, there is a small camp surrounded by a large wooden fence. At the gate, there are two guards who block the entrance with their weapons when someone approaches.
The camp is an important location for the Nilfgaardian army troops. Soldiers can rest there and recover from the strains of battle.
Under normal circumstances, it is not possible to access the small camp. As you approach the soldiers at the entrance, you only hear, “One wrong move, and you’re gone.” However, a player has now discovered a clever trick that allows him to get past the soldiers.

Player discovers a trick in The Witcher 3 after 9 years
How did he get in? To finally access the soldiers’ paradise, he teleported to Crow’s Perch. There, he spoke with a merchant and bought the armor of the Nilfgaardian army, which includes the top, pants, shoes, and gloves.
After donning the gear, he was able to pass by the guards without any obstruction. After a slight flatulence, they stepped aside and allowed the player to see what probably very few others have seen.
If you didn’t think of disguising yourself as a soldier of the Nilfgaardian army, you can see how the camp looks in the following video by Slinger:
What can be seen in the camp? The camp is extremely small. Besides small stalls with tables, there is a large wooden house if you follow the path. Things get heated there, as lightly dressed ladies dance for the weary soldiers.
Inside, there is another area where the player cannot pass even in his uniform. In the background, a man and a woman can be seen staring at each other in minimal clothing.
Since the player discovered this trick 9 years after release, we can assume that not many players have been able to see the camp. It is all the more wonderful that the YouTuber is sharing his discovery with other fans.
Until The Witcher 4 is released, players still have to engage with The Witcher 3. Maybe fans will discover other secrets that very few people have seen by then. That the role-playing game is still being supported today can be seen by the fact that a mod editor was released this year: Surprising announcement for “The Witcher 3” – This tool comes now 8 years after release
