Currently, the filming for Season 2 of the live-action adaptation of One Piece is underway. In the series on Netflix, new characters are introduced, who also appeared in the original anime. However, there will be a character who actually appears only in the Dressrosa arc, that is, 585 episodes later.
Where does the information come from? Actor Nahum Hughes has updated his resume. It includes a role description for the Netflix series of One Piece. In Season 2, he will play Bartolomeo. This way, an actor has also revealed that he will play Chopper.
The X account pewpiece took a closer look at his resume and found that Bartolomeo is indeed mentioned as a role:
So far, this information has not been confirmed by the production team of the series. Their last announcement was the casting of Vivi. Since even One Piece insider newworldartur shared this information on X, we can assume that the actor will indeed be cast as Bartolomeo.
So far, Nahum Hughes is said to have only been cast. Accordingly, there are no images of him in costume yet. Since he will probably only have a very small role, we also assume that he will not appear in any trailers beforehand, but will only be seen in the episode itself.

Bartolomeo actually appears much later in One Piece
Warning: Spoiler! Here follows a description of Bartolomeo and some details about the possible plot in Season 2 of the Netflix series about One Piece.
Who is Bartolomeo? Bartolomeo is one of the fighters that Straw Hat Luffy meets in the Coliseum of Dressrosa – which is many chapters and anime episodes after Loguetown and the start on the Grand Line. The pirate is the captain of the Barto Club and has made a name for himself as a man-eater. It turns out that Bartolomeo is a big fan of the Straw Hat Pirates.
Bartolomeo has eaten the Barrier Fruit. This allows him to create invisible barriers that he can use to protect himself. Actually, Bartolomeo was supposed to make his first appearance in the anime only with episode 634, but the live-action series adapts the anime episodes starting from about 48 in Season 2.
Why will he be seen now? In Dressrosa, it turns out that Bartolomeo was present at the planned execution of Monkey D. Luffy in Logue Town. Buggy intended to behead Luffy on the guillotine.
Therefore, we think that Bartolomeo will be briefly seen in the audience. The Netflix team has already included several Easter eggs in Season 1 that are intended for the anime fans. Fans of Fallout could also rejoice, as there was a special Easter egg in the Fallout series: Fans of the Fallout series discovered an Easter egg that actually shouldn’t exist – almost no one knew about it
