Since April 14, 2025, Erenshor proves that no other players are needed to experience a fun MMORPG experience. Now, the first expansion for this unique role-playing game has been released on Steam.
What does the expansion bring? The first major content update of Erenshor is called “Call of the Storm” and was released on September 26, 2025, on Steam. Highlight features include:
- The new class of Stormcallers, who combine magic and arrows to deal high burst damage or control groups of enemies.
- With an equipped bow, you can now shoot rain arrows at enemies.
- There is now an alternative starting point where you can skip the old tutorial.
- There are many balancing adjustments for group sizes (increased to 5), movement speed (reduced from 11 to 8), or the spawn timers of various monsters.
- There are new quests.
- The simulated teammates now use healing spells more intelligently.
- Some high-level enemies have additional abilities.
- There is now an item to reset a dungeon.
- Arcanists now have a new channeling spell.

What kind of game is Erenshor? The new role-playing game from Burgee Media aims to offer the experience of classic MMORPGs but without other players. Instead, numerous so-called SimPlayers populate the world.
These NPCs simulate the behavior of other players and are available when you need a group for dungeons, quests, and boss fights. When you go offline, the world also pauses. So you can experience the adventure at your own pace. This is very well received by many players: Erenshor ranks on Steam with 1,326 ratings at a strong 94 percent positive.
