The first part of the Halloween event for Pokémon GO has been hinted at on social media. One hint appears particularly interesting.
What kind of event is this? As in previous years, there will be a Halloween event in Pokémon GO this year as well. On X, an image has been released that suggests the first content.
There is currently no exact information from Niantic about when the event will take place. However, the silhouettes of some Pokémon can be recognized in the image. One monster that is identifiable here is particularly interesting.
Many familiar faces and a new face
What is the new Pokémon? One of the Pokémon recognizable in the image is Morpeko. The monster, which has not yet been found in Pokémon GO, comes from the 8th generation and has the types Electric and Dark. And Morpeko has a very special ability.
The Pokémon can change its form when it is hungry. And exactly this form-changing ability was already announced for Pokémon GO in August. In the trailer, which we have embedded for you at the top of the article, it can be seen that Morpeko can use this ability in the battle league and in Rocket battles.
It is therefore assumed that Morpeko and its form-changing ability will find their way into the game during the Halloween event. The monster would be the first to change its form not outside of battles, like Necrozma, but within battles.
Which other Pokémon can be seen? In addition to Morpeko, the silhouettes of the following Pokémon can also be recognized in the image:
- Zubat
- Kramurx
- Nebulak
- Pikachu with witch hat
- Zobiris
- Gruff
