The MMORPG Corepunk is supposed to be a mix of LoL and WoW, and the game has already conducted its third alpha test this year. It apparently went so well that the game could soon be released in Early Access.
What is Corepunk? On a superficial level, Corepunk looks like a mix of League of Legends and World of Warcraft. The game has some features.
- Unusual classes and specializations such as Bomber
- A seamless open world
- Guilds
- Deep lore
- Sandbox mechanics
- A theme park MMO with a combat system reminiscent of LoL
Corepunk has already run three alpha tests, and it seems to have worked well, as they now announce that the game is set to be released in Early Access after the fourth alpha test in November.

The last alpha test was successful
How did the third alpha go? According to statements on their website, the last alpha test went well. They were able to host 50,000 players and test and improve the stability of the game. The developers are also satisfied with the gameplay in the alpha. Players were said to have satisfactorily and adequately utilized the existing mechanics.
The next alpha test is set to take place from August 6, 2024, to September 6, 2024. Everyone who pre-ordered the game and participated in Alpha Test 1 will gain access.
In this context, the release date for Early Access was also announced. The game is expected to be available from November 26. The following new features are to be added in Early Access:
- Two new biomes
- Two new settlements
- Two randomly generated dungeons
- Two instantiated battlegrounds
- Two storylines to follow
- Hundreds of items
- Three new specializations: Defender, Commando, Grenadier
The game is set to launch in Early Access across six different regions. Currently, however, only English will be offered.
The developers also mention that they do not plan to delete content or created characters. However, this may happen in case of critical bugs and errors. You can currently pre-order the MMORPG only on the official website.
There are three different pre-order versions available, which unlock various in-game content for you. Prices range from €33 to €53. Access for the last test is included in all versions. If you pre-order the game and decide against it before the Early Access release, you can refund the game until November 26.
