In Pokémon GO, the Deoxys form changes again. Soon the Defense Form will be available in raids. This was confirmed by Niantic in an official announcement.
Which form is new? Currently, there is the Attack Form of Deoxys in raids. This will now be replaced by the Defense Form. Only the Speed Form will be left for all forms to be in the game.
When will the new form be available? From March 25, this form will be in raids. This means that your upcoming EX-raids will still feature the Attack Form and only be replaced with new invitations that will be sent out.
What we know about the Defense Form of Deoxys
What makes the form special: As the name suggests, this form focuses primarily on its defense value. It has, after Pottrott, the highest defense value of all Pokémon.

This is how hard it is to defeat Deoxys: Due to its high defense value, you need more trainers to defeat the
Pokémon. At least 3 players and ideal weather are required to take down Deoxys. The Attack Form, on the other hand, could already be defeated alone.
Is this form finally useful? If you catch Deoxys, it doesn’t offer much. You cannot place Deoxys in gyms, and this form is too weak for attacking. It will mainly serve for the PokéDex.
The other forms are not particularly good for battling either. While the Attack Form can deal a lot of damage, it gets defeated just as quickly. Additionally, all Deoxys forms have poor attacks.
But it’s good for: In the PvP mode, this form could perform exceptionally well. It can withstand a lot, which is crucial.
This is how you get Deoxys: This mysterious Pokémon cannot be obtained in regular raids. You need to be invited to EX-raids.
To receive such an invitation, you must complete a raid at the corresponding EX-Raid gym beforehand. If enough other players have also raided, an EX-Raid will be triggered.
